Authentic Chuck Wagons Gather for Cook-Off Authentic Chuck Wagons Gather for Cook-Off at Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days Cooks from across the country will circle the wagons on Saturday, July 17th for the annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days Chuck Wagon Cook-off.  
Vice Mayor and Area VIPs Kick-Off “Ride Your Horse to Work Week” May 10 Colorado Springs, Colo. – May 3, 2010 – As a fun and light-hearted kick-off to the first annual Pikes Peak Western Heritage Days, Monday, May 10, 2010 has been designated as the start of Ride Your Horse to Work Week.
Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Rodeo proceeds benefit our armed forces & their families. Following World War II, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo made a commitment to serve the area's military and community charities.
 
History Norris-Penrose Event Center has its roots in rodeo. Three men, Spencer Penrose, Charles Leaming Tutt, and Jasper Ackerman, are primarily responsible for creating three of this city's most prominent organizations.
